AI Entrepreneurship Academy at Ephesus

The AI Entrepreneurship Academy would teach Ephesus middle and high school students to start and run a real small business, with AI agents working as their employees. Each student finishes the year with a working project to show for it.

Proposed program. SynthegrationAI prepared this page for discussion with Ephesus Academy. It describes what could be offered. It is not yet available and has not been approved by the school.

The program

What students do

  1. 01 Learn the business basics Find a customer, name the problem, set a price and tell the story.
  2. 02 Build a team of AI employees Assign AI agents to marketing, customer service, bookkeeping and research. Students write the instructions, then check the work.
  3. 03 Learn to sell Students practice pitching and handling rejection. The approach follows the Adventist tradition of student literature evangelists, who built persistence by selling door to door.
  4. 04 Run the business Each student runs the business as a capstone project connected to what they study in class.
  5. 05 Pitch twice Students present first to classmates, then to a panel of community judges, including entrepreneurs, business people and scientists. The panel decides whether the project is a real working product or needs more work.

How it grows with the student

Younger students manage a small team of AI employees. Older students manage larger, more complex teams. The most advanced level, running a whole organization, is reserved for students who come through the full program starting in 6th grade.

How it fits the school day

The academy ties into each student's current schoolwork through the capstone project, so it adds to their classes instead of competing with them. It would meet after school in the Ephesus building.

Who teaches it

William Dykes, founder of SynthegrationAI, would teach the first cohort himself.

For families

A parent track, where parents learn entrepreneurship alongside their children, could follow in a later phase.

Next step

Meet with the principal and school board to shape the first cohort: grades, schedule and the community judges for the pitch panel.
